Miss Jenn's Art

My Story

A caring place to create

Jenn received her first Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Akron, majoring in Fine Art Photography and minoring in Commercial Photography and Graphic Design. She continued her education at Notre Dame College, where she received an additional Bachelor’s in Art Education. Jenn has owned her photography business, Jennifer M Photography, since 2009 and continues her passion for photography on a part-time basis.

Her art programs were inspired by afternoons spent creating art with her daughters at their kitchen table and leading many Girl Scout Troop meetings. These grew into after-school art programs when she realized the strong desire for children to have additional time to create.

Art with Miss Jenn offers customized after-school art programs for local elementary schools. These programs are created directly with our parish and take place inside the school building immediately following the school day. Jenn has worked with hundreds of students throughout her career, including approximately 135 students specifically within these art programs. Popular offerings include 2D and 3D design, covering drawing, painting, collage, clay, and sculpting.
